What does anyone else feel about the turnstiles at St Andrews?

I use entrance 6 on the Kop. I find them very tight indeed. Last night (Brentford) as it was a potentially cold night, I donned my usual shirt, with a jumper, Blues scarf and anorak.

I couldn't get through without unbuttoning my jacket and taking my scarf out of the way.

I know I'm 5'10' and 15 stone, but that's not much more than average. How some bigger guys get in I do not know. Except I did mention it to two guys who are near me, and they both said they go in via the side gate.

I've been to other grounds, and never seem to have a problem.

Suggestions,experiences and or comments please.

We have pretty wide turnstiles compared to most, I think you'll just have to drop a couple of pounds mate.

Send an email to the club and ask them to supply a "fatties entrance" then all the 20 year old youths as in earlier post, can stand there 15 minutes before kick off chanting "who ate all the pies" as you all go in

Agreed, this is an immense thread.

We need to make sure the club places the fatties' entrance by the refreshments to maximise sales...

Trev did you expect a sensible answer

I have always felt that the bar you push against is the wrong way round and should curve in rather than out. **thumbup

Bit like how you feel i guess..... :D

Thanks for all the comments folks. Sensible or not. However it is a problem for me as the 'Bar' is just at my chest height not my stomach. And that's a sready 40" with chest of 44", so not too much out of the ordinary.

I still think the turnstiles are wrong, and too tight. They may be installed wrongly (upside down) as Blooboy suggested, and as Esoneulb also.

At my age, I can't see my weight, height or anything else changing much. And as for Balti pies. I hate them.

Anyway, thanks.
